    Please follow this guide before your initial Onboarding Meeting to get a head start on some initial requests and information.

      Soraban - Our Client Platform

      Soraban is our multi-faceted client platform that was built to be a home base for all of your interactions with our team.  

      The platform serves these four main functions:
      • Communication:  Soraban is THE source for communication with your Anomaly Team!  All team members that work on your account will have visibility and can respond to your request in a timely manner.
        • Message Priority Coding:
          • Normal - 48 hours response time 
          • Urgent - 24 hours response time
          • Emergency - Is the IRS at your door?!  In all reality, there are very few emergencies in the accounting world,  but if something is extremely urgent to you or your business, this code is there if you need it. 
        • Optional Messaging Feature: You have the ability to send and receive text messages via the platform by updating the profile settings with a cell phone number.


      • Secure Document Exchange
        • Soraban is a secure environment to exchange sensitive information.  All documents containing sensitive information should be uploaded to Soraban and not sent via email.  
        • Looking for a prior tax return?  Look no further!  All tax returns prepared by our team will be located in your Documents Section.  
      • Questionnaire System
        • When your Anomaly Team needs an extensive amount of information, we will use Soraban's questionnaire system to send important accounting, financial and tax questionnaires throughout the year.  You can easily drag and drop documents into the questionnaire, as well as elaborate or comment on any items as necessary.
      • Other Resources
        • Access the Anomaly Knowledge Base with one click!
        • Access your custom financial/accounting dashboard (Concierge Accounting Level service) with the click of a button.

      Discovery Questionnaire

      You will be receiving a Discovery Questionnaire which will ask you to provide access for multiple platforms.  To get a head start, here are some items!

      1. Payroll Platform: Add accounting@anomalycpa.com & your
        project manager as an Accountant User on your payroll platform (Gusto or ADP). 
        If using another PR platform, please let us know.
      2. E-Commerce: Stripe/Square/PayPal/ Amazon –
        Please create & share an accountant login to accounting@anomalycpa.com.
      3. Bank & Credit Card Access: Read only access instructions will be presented during your accounting onboarding call.
      4. Other Platforms: Please let us know of any other financial systems/platforms that you are using and share access.

      QUICKBOOKS ONLINE ACCESS NEEDED:
      1. Please share your QBO Accountant's Copy with accounting@anomalycpa.com in order to grant access to our team.  Please note- use the Accountant function to add access. DO NOT add us as an Admin. 
        • If you are starting QBO for the first time, you will set up the account during your onboarding call with our Accounting Team

      Weekly Client Only Guides & Monthly Webinars

      Weekly Guides - Each and every Thursday, we publish a 5-10 minute video with an accompanying KnowledgeBase article on a tax, financial, real estate or other business topic. These are sent to the email address on file (please let us know if you'd like to change). 

      We urge you to watch, read and ask any questions in Soraban!  To get the most out of your experience, we ask that you follow along each week and begin implemetning the most relevant strategies.  Our client only content is curated based on your feedback and the successes of other clients.

      Monthly Webinars - each month we host a webinar from an industry leading expert. Past webinars have included the #1 ATM Investor in the US, the Commissioner of the IRS, a Self Directed IRA expert and a Mineral Rights investment expert.  Our goal is to educate and then assist you with implementing any of the relevant strategies.

      From FAQs to complex tax strategy implementation, our KB has it all!  Our KB has over 100 pieces of self curated content.  

      1. Check out the FAQs first!  Many of the answers to common questions can be accessed in a few clicks!
      2. Check out out Tax Saving Ideas!  We add to these weekly.  If something sparks your interest, drop us a note in Soraban and our Team will dig deeper with you!
      3. Search!  The KB is fully searchable by keyword.  Interested in checking your refund? Simply search "refund" and you'll get the complete guide.

      Tax & Accounting Deadlines

      Tax & Accounting Deadlines: In life, things happen! On either side, if a deadline is going to be missed, we believe proactive communication is key. However, chronic delays of information will hinder our process and ability to work together. 

      We expect to meet your deadlines, and we ask that you meet ours as well. If deadlines are not met, we cannot deliver the top level of service we strive to provide and cannot help your business grow. The deadlines are there to ensure efficient, prompt compliance to our fiduciary responsibilities and for a seamless transition of information and communication. 

      If you ever believe a deadline we communicate may pose a challenge for you, just drop us a note in Soraban.

      Provide ACH Payment Information (if not already done)

      If you have not yet provided us with your ACH payment information, please provide that information here so our Billing team can set up your payments in our system. 

      We do also accept payment via credit card, however, please be aware that there is an additional 3.2% fee for credit card payments. You can provide credit card information using this link

      At anytime, you can update your ACH information on your Soraban dashboard! This will immediately notify our billing team.
