To spread this technology, small devices need to be placed on buildings throughout the country. Large carriers like AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile are paying building owners to put these devices on their rooftops. Building owners can earn between $1,800 and $5,000 per month in rent from these carriers. Rural properties are also considered. 

The leases are usually for 15 to 20 years, and it's recommended to negotiate annual lease escalations. This can be passive revenue added to your building.
