Merging Duplicate Clients


    Merging clients is required for clients who have accidentally created multiple profiles. Having multiple profiles in Jane results in confusion for bookings, billing and charting. 


    Search Client Name
    In the client list,run your mouse over the clients’ name and you will see a + sign to the right of the clients’ name. 

    Click the + sign, then click the + sign beside the duplicate client name as well

    Jane will then prompt you to select which profile you would like to be the “primary” profile for the merge. Please review the profile information carefully when making this decision. Pay special attention to which profile has the appointments booked and charts attached to it - this is the profile you’ll want to make the primary profile.

    Select your option and the merge is complete.
