Here are some resources to support us in fostering an Inclusive therapeutic environment.

The 519 is a city organization in Toronto dedicated to advocacy for the inclusion of LGBTQ communities and offers training and resources, in addition to community programming:
· Pronouns: Gender Specific and Gender Neutral
· Creative a Welcoming Environment
· Being an Effective Trans Ally
· Being a Supportive Peer or Co-Worker
· Supporting an Employee in Transition
Simple steps towards Inclusivity:
Include your pronouns in your email signature, bio, etc.
Introduce yourself with your pronouns and ask others for theirs
Refer to clients by their preferred name (do not refer to a legal name as a "real" name)
Offer directions to all bathrooms
