    IP | How-To Add a 3rd Party Parcel Account to InfoPlus

    This process will outline how to create a 3rd Party Parcel Account in InfoPlus for a customer (LOB).

    Parcel Account Information Needed:

    1. Customer (LOB)
    2. Carrier
    3. Carrier Account Number
    4. Billing Address for Carrier Account
      • Billing Company Name (i.e. Vendor - Target, Best Buy, ULTA, etc.)
      • Street
      • City
      • State
      • Zip Code
      • Country

    Process Overview:

    1. Get 3rd Party Parcel Account info (Outlined Above) from the customer or vendor
    2. Navigate to the InfoPlus 3rd Party Parcel Account Table
    3. Check to ensure there is not already a parcel account added for this account
    4. Select 'Create New' in the upper right-hand corner of the page
    5. Fill in the fields of the new record 
      • Account Name
        • Format: LOB | Vendor - Carrier
        • Example: Nike | Target - FedEx

      Confirm ALL Necessary Information is Received

      The first step will be getting the necessary information from the customer regarding the 3rd party parcel account. Outlined below:

      Parcel Account Information Needed:

      1. Customer (LOB)
      2. Carrier
      3. Carrier Account Number
      4. Billing Address for Carrier Account
        • Billing Company Name (i.e. Vendor - Target, Best Buy, ULTA, etc.)
        • Street
        • City
        • State
        • Zip Code
        • Country

      Navigate to the 'Third Party Parcel Account' Table

      Navigate to the 'Third Party Parcel Account' table in InfoPlus.

      Ensure Parcel Account is Not Already Created

      While on the Third Party Parcel Account Table, use the filters to filter by the following:
      1. LOB
        • Line of Business / ShipCalm Customer
      2. Account No
        • Using the Carrier Account Number provided by the customer
        • If the Carrier Account Number shows up on the table, confirm the information on the record matches the information provided by the customer such as:
          • Carrier
          • Address Information
          • Account Name in InfoPlus
        • If the Carrier Account Number DOES NOT show up on the table, continue on to the next steps to complete adding the third party parcel account.

      Create a New Third Party Parcel Account Record

      Using the Information provided by the customer for the Third PartyParcel Account, fill in the required fields below. Fill in all of the information you have regardless if it is a Required Field.

      NOTE:The Account Name should be named as follows:
      • Format: LOB | Vendor - Carrier
      • Example: Nike | Target - FedEx

      Save the Third Party Parcel Account Record

      After completing all of the required fields, select the SAVE button at the bottom right of the page.
