IP | How-To Add a ShipCalm 3rd Party Parcel Account to an LOB
Reason:
Customers who use their own Parcel Accounts would like the ability to use the ShipCalm Parcel Account for specific shipments.
Information Needed:
- The customer that is wanting to Use the ShipCalm Parcel Account rather than their own Parcel Account
- The Carrier that the Parcel Account is for
- FedEx, UPS, etc.
Process Overview:
- Navigate to the InfoPlus 3rd Party Parcel Account Table
- Filter the Table by LOB = ShipCalm
- Filter the Table by the Carrier that you need to apply
- FedEx, UPS, etc.
- Open the record that is listed
- Duplicate the Third-Party Parcel account record
- Actions - Duplicate
- Update the fields of the new record
- Account Name - Change the LOB in the Name to the Customer Name
- Format: ShipCalm | LOB - Carrier
- Example: ShipCalm | BioHarvest - FedEx
- LOB
- Change the LOB to be the LOB that is requesting the account change
- Account Name - Change the LOB in the Name to the Customer Name

1Navigate to the 'Third Party Parcel Account' Table

2Filter the Table by LOB = ShipCalmFilter the Table by the LOB name equals ShipCalm (or select the ShipCalm checkbox)

3Filter the Table by the CarrierFilter the Table by the Carrier that you need to apply

4Open the Record that is listedSelect the record in the table for the Carrier and ShipCalm LOB

5Duplicate the Third-Party Parcel account recordOnce the record is open, use the Actions dropdown menu to select the 'Duplicate' action

6Update the fields of the new recordUpdate the following fields for the customer and carrier that is being added for
- Account Name - Change the LOB in the Name to the Customer Name
- Format: ShipCalm | LOB - Carrier
- Example: ShipCalm | BioHarvest - FedEx
- LOB
- Change the LOB to the LOB that is requesting the account change
- Account Name - Change the LOB in the Name to the Customer Name

7Save the Third Party Parcel Account RecordAfter completing all of the required fields, select the SAVE button at the bottom right of the page.
