IP | How-To Create an InfoPlus Account for a Customer

    Info Needed: (Of user being added)

    1. Name (First and Last)
    2. Email

    Process Overview:

    1. Navigate to the 'User Manager' table in InfoPlus
    2. Select 'Create New' in the top right corner of the page
    3. Fill in the User Information: 
      • Name (First and Last)
      • Email
    4. Set Password to Default Password for the specific LOB
      • Example #1: SHIPCALM123 if the LOB is ShipCalm
      • Example #2: NIKE123 if the LOB is Nike
      • NOTE: The default password is not necessary but the customer will receive an email to the email entered above having them create a password.
    5. Select the following dropdowns:
      1. Select User Type = 3PL Customer
      2. Select Roles to Add = Customer
        • Do not select the options that contain API or API (Read Only)
      3. Select Default Role = Customer
      4. Select Lines of Business to Add = Dependent on the user being added
        • Example: If the user works for NIKE, select Nike from the Line of Business dropdown
    6. Select 'Ok'

      Navigate to the 'User Manager' table in InfoPlus

      The users will all be managed and added on the User Manager table in InfoPlus

      1. Navigate to the 'User Manager' table in InfoPlus

      Select 'Create New' on the User Table

      Start by selecting the 'Create New' button on the User Table

      1. Select 'Create New' in the top right corner of the page

      Fill in the User Information

      The customer will need to provide the following information in order to create the user account.
      1. Name (First and Last)
      2. Email

      In the pop-up window, enter the following information:

      1. Name (First and Last)
      2. Email
      3. Password: Set the Default Password for the specific LOB
        • Example #1: SHIPCALM123 if the LOB is ShipCalm
        • Example #2: NIKE123 if the LOB is Nike
        • NOTE: The default password is not necessary but the customer will receive an email to the email entered above having them create a password.
      4. Select User Type
        • 3PL Customer
      5. Select Roles to Add
        • Customer
          • Do not select the options that contain API or API (Read Only)
      6. Select Default Role
        • Customer
      7. Select Lines of Business to Add 
        • Dependent on the user being added
          • Example: If the user works for NIKE, select Nike from the Line of Business dropdown

      Select 'Ok' to Save the User

      After inputting all of the above information, save the user record by selecting the 'Ok' button in the lower right hand corner of the pop-up window.
