This policy applies to all employees, contractors, interns, vendors, and representatives of Company who use company communication channels, including but not limited to email, messaging apps, and social media, whether on company-owned or personal devices.
Usage
All communication on Company communication channels should be professional and respectful. Employees should not use profanity, discriminatory language, or engage in any harassing or inappropriate conduct.
Employees should use company communication channels for business-related purposes only. Personal communication should not interfere with work responsibilities or use company resources.
Employees should not share confidential information, intellectual property, or trade secrets on company communication channels. Employees should follow company policies and legal requirements, including but not limited to privacy, security, and record retention policies.
Employees should respond to any business-related communication in a timely and professional manner. Employees should set up an auto-reply or delegate their communication channels during extended absences such as vacations, sick days, or work-related travel.
Monitoring
Company reserves the right to monitor and review any communication on company communication channels. This includes but is not limited to email, messaging apps, and social media. Monitoring may occur for compliance, security, or performance purposes. Employees should not have an expectation of privacy when using company communication channels.
Ownership
All communication on company communication channels is the property of Company and may be subject to retention policies and legal requests. Employees should not use company communication channels for personal purposes, and any personal communication on these channels may be subject to access by Company.
Breach
Employees who violate this policy may face disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. Employees who have questions or concerns about this policy should report to their supervisor or the Human Resources department.
