General Refund Policy

    Scope

    This policy applies to all customers of Southern Peninsula Basketball Association (SPBA) who have purchased services and are seeking a refund not already covered by a specific refund policy.

    Audience

    This policy applies to all customers of SPBA.

    Service Refunds

    Generally, if a service has been undertaken, a refund is not available. However, if you have purchased a service from us and are not satisfied with the quality of the service, please contact us within seven days to request a refund. We will work with you to understand the issue and determine if a refund is appropriate.

    Game Fee Refunds

    If a domestic game is cancelled prior to half time commencing for any reason, teams shall receive a full refund, except where the cancellation was caused by one or both of the teams. In this case, the team who caused the cancellation may not be entitled to a refund.

    Exceptions

    There are some situations where we may not be able to offer a refund, including:

    • The service has already been provided and completed
    • The membership or service was purchased through a third-party provider
    • The refund request is made outside of the specified time frame

    If a refund is approved, we will issue a refund for the amount paid for the service. Transaction fees may not be refunded as they do not go to SPBA. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used to make the purchase.
