Create Landing Page in ConvertKit

This is how to create a Landing Page in ConvertKit using as an example a landing page for a downloadable lead magnet.
    1. 1

      Login to ConvertKit

    2. 2

      Navigate to Landing Pages area

In the new ConvertKit interface the steps would be
      1. Select "Grow" menu, then
      2. Select "Landing Pages & Forms"
    3. 3

      Select "Create New"

    4. 4

      Select "Landing Page"

    5. 5

      Choose a Template

      1. Choose a template from the options shown (this may be daunting)
      2. You can filter down to particular types of templates based on what you want to promote
      3. If you are using a simple e-book download (i.e. "lead magnet") I recommend you pick the "Emerald" template.
    6. 6

Here's what the first options page looks like

The image on the left is a screenshot that I created in Keynote and set the image shadow to "contact shadow" (first I rotated it by 6 degrees to make it tilt)

Then the text part you can just type into to edit. You can change the colors to match your brand if you want to.
    7. 7

      Tweak "Settings"

      1. Pick "Settings"
      2. The Dialogue Box will pop up and if you pick "General" you can set what happens when a subscriber fills in the information and hits SUBSCRIBE (or whatever the words you set in the steps above was)
      3. After you have configured all the settings you can hit "Publish"
    8. 8

      Set the "Incentive Email" option

      1. Select the "Incentive" option so you can...
      2. Tailor the email that goes out to deliver the content (e.g. the PDF download)
      3. Then pick how they'll get it, which is either: (1) "redirecting to a URL" (the red button shown) OR...(2) Download, which is maybe the easiest option. But try them both to see which appeals to you
    9. 9

      Test that the process works

Subscribe to your own lead magnet and make sure that all the steps are working the way you expect or want.
    10. 10
