Shop Inventory Responsibilities

Managing a shop's inventory is critical to ensuring it's core functionality and a required task for shop managers. There are multiple types of inventory that feed our services and what we offer clients. When managing inventories, it's important to remember that we never want to run out of any items in our inventory.

Retail
Retail supplies are those items we offer for sale to our clients, such as hair styling products, beard care, aftershaves, etc. Required minimums for retail products are available on the chopadminportal website. Managers are expected to maintain an accurate count of these items in Squire, and make orders with the appropriate vendors to maintain required minimums. Squire inventory is reviewed for accuracy on a weekly basis.

Men's Service Supply
Men's service supply consists of any items required to complete any men's services. This includes items like neck strips, barbercide, clippercide, and backbar items like styling clays or pomades, beard products like balms and oils, shaving products like shaving creams and lotions, lather, and aftershave, and any color products. Required minimums for men's service supply are listed on each item in Sortly. Managers are expected to maintain an accurate count of these items in Sortly, and make orders with the appropriate vendors to maintain required minimums. Sortly is reviewed for accuracy on a weekly basis.

Women's Service Supply
Women's service supply consists of any backbar items such as heat protectorants, leave-in conditioners, and any color products. Required minimums for women's service supply are listed on each item in Sortly. Managers are expected to maintain an accurate count of these items in Sortly, and make orders with the appropriate vendors to maintain required minimums. Sortly is reviewed for accuracy on a bi-weekly basis.

Customer Food and Beverage
Customer Food and Beverage includes any beverages offered to clients. Required minimums for customer food and beverage are listed on each item in Sortly. Managers are expected to maintain an accurate count of these items in Sortly, and make orders to maintain required minimums. Sortly is reviewed for accuracy on a weekly basis.

Shop Supply

Managers are expected to maintain an accurate count of these items in Sortly, and make orders with the appropriate vendors to maintain required minimums.
