Retail Shelves Display Standards

The display of products on retail shelves is an important part of engaging customers. This sections below detail standards and guidelines for maintaining clean, organized, and visually appealing retail shelves.

Shelf Organization and Product Placement

All products should be organized and stocked with product at all times. Staff and managers are responsible for ensuring that there are no empty spaces or gaps on the shelves. Managers are expected to ensure retail inventory meets expected minimum requirements. 

CHOP brand "pub-like feel" elements and antiques should be placed alongside retail products to enhance visual interest for customers, and, if possible, provide reference to qualities of the product they are near.

Products should be strategically placed at customer eye level or in prominent locations to increase visibility and sales. Product packaging should be front-facing, ensuring that the customers can easily read the product name and details without having to turn them around.

Retail Register Rack

We have provided each franchisee with a retail register rack which sits on your reception counter.  This rack should be filled with CHOP Merch including gift cards, coozies, Tshirts, etc. and placed in an area near the register.


Cleanliness

Retail shelves and product packaging should be kept clean and free from dust. Regular cleaning of retail shelves and product packaging should be included in opening or closing checklists. 

Compliance

These provisions are required of all franchisees and will be inspected quarterly.
