More Restrictive IEP Considerations SOP

    This is for students that already have an IEP.

      Define the Problem

      • Student is struggling to make progress towards IEP goals and objectives

      IEP Meeting

      • Team calls an IEP meeting with all needed participants at the table
      • Team determines internal structures/strategies or interventions to put in place for the student
      • Team schedules a follow up IEP meeting (4-8 weeks) to discuss progress and review data

      If progress is being made

      • Continue with current supports and services as listed in the IEP
    4. 4

      If progress is not being made

      • Notify the Central Office Admin Team to support your building level team in determining next steps
    5. 5

      End
