School Wide Title Plans SOP

    Updated Summer 2023

    Each year, schools receiving Title I funds (LES, MES, PES, WA) need to monitor and adjust their Schoolwide Plans by reviewing results from the previous year and re-assessing their needs.

    Comprehensive Planning Reminders


    1. 1

      Consultation (On-Going)

      Assistant Superintendent will oversee the Schoolwide Title programs through consultation with each school and provide support as needed.

      Documentation-Planning (Sept.)

      Principal with School Based Teams (i.e. Reading/Math Teachers, SIP Teams)

      Document the following:

      • How components of the plan will be implemented    

      • How it will be assessed/What data will be used

      • How the plan changes over time/Revisions

      • What additional resources are needed/Future PD

      • How current status and/or updates are reported to stakeholders

      • This is kept as a Google doc at the building level.

      Staff Update (Sept/Oct)

      Principal and school based team (SIP/Interventionists) share the information listed above with the entire staff.

      Documentation-Implementation and Reflection (April/May)

      Principal with School Based Teams (i.e. Reading/Math Teachers, SIP Teams)

      Document the following:

      • Were the services for School Side Title implemented as the planning group intended?

      • Did you reach the desired outcome that was anticipated by the planning group?

      • What adjustments does your planning group intend to make for this upcoming school year based off of last year’s data?

      * Save as a Google Doc at the building level

      ESSA-State Documentation (May)

      Principal and school based teams update the ESSA approved Schoolwide Title Form and add it to the shared folder. (previous year’s forms are available in this folder for teams to work from).


      * Submit a copy to Schoolwide Title Folder for Assistant Superintendent by early June.

      Record Keeping (June)

      Assistant Superintendent keeps Schoolwide Title Plans on file as a record.

      Board Approval (May/June)

      Assistant Superintendent provides the School Board with each Title School’s updated Schoolwide Title Plan for their approval.
