Assistant Superintendent updates the Assessment Framework; specifically the assessment calendar to match the assessment windows provided by the State and the resources folder. Add new resource docs when new assessments/tools arise.

3New Staff Training (TI August)
Assistant superintendent shows new staff the Balanced Assessment Webinar.
Show the Assessment Toolkit (Staff Bookmark) that includes the framework, calendar, resources, and data analysis timeframes. -
4Principal Review (Aug-Sept)
Principals review the location of the Assessment Toolkit (Staff Bookmark) that includes the framework, calendar, resources, and data analysis timeframes.
Update staff on any changes from the prior year. -
5Review Cycle (Aug-Sept)Assistant superintendent, cabinet, principals, and SIP teams review and discuss IAR, PSAT/SAT, ISA, ECRISS, and ACCESS data from the previous semester (see assessment toolkit).

6Data Review (Fall and Spring)Assistant superintendent, cabinet, principals, SIP teams review and discuss ECRISS, KIDS, MAP, Panorama, and PSAT/SAT data. (see Assessment Toolkit)

7Data Analysis/Planning (Ongoing)Building based teams (SIP, PLCs, content, etc.) use the data analysis timeframes and the resources folder to analyze student data in order to inform future instruction (see Assessment Toolkit).

8Formative Assessments/Planning (Ongoing)Building based teams (SIP, PLCs, content, etc.) create and share local, formative assessments that help drive instruction. Use data during PLCs.

9Assessment Calendar Updates (Spring)Assistant superintendent meets with ECRA group to discuss any potential changes in the upcoming school year assessment calendar.
