1Step 1Initial Decision Maker receives and reviews formal complaint, all evidence, and investigative report from Investigator.

2Step 2Provide parties with notice of the opportunity to submit written, relevant questions asked of any party/witness.

3Step 3Once notice is sent, parties get 5 school business days to submit questions. Exclude any questions that are not relevant.

4Step 4Once the Initial Decision Maker receives questions, forward questions to the other party for response. May exclude non-relevant questions.

5Step 5Parties get 5 school business days to respond to questions. Once Initial Decision Maker receives responses, forward copy to the questioning party.

6Step 6Provide opportunity to parties for limited, follow-up questions for submission within 5 school business days of the notice.

7Step 7Forward follow-up questions to parties and provide parties with 5 school business days to answer, then forward copy of answers to the questioning party.
