      Step 1

      Initial Decision Maker receives and reviews formal complaint, all evidence, and investigative report from Investigator.

      Step 2

      Provide parties with notice of the opportunity to submit written, relevant questions asked of any party/witness.

      Step 3

      Once notice is sent, parties get 5 school business days to submit questions.  Exclude any questions that are not relevant.

      Step 4

      Once the Initial Decision Maker receives questions, forward questions to the other party for response.  May exclude non-relevant questions.

      Step 5

      Parties get 5 school business days to respond to questions.  Once Initial Decision Maker receives responses, forward copy to the questioning party.

      Provide opportunity to parties for limited, follow-up questions for submission within 5 school business days of the notice.

      Step 7

      Forward follow-up questions to parties and provide parties with 5 school business days to answer, then forward copy of answers to the questioning party.

      Once the questioning process is completed, Initial Decision Maker drafts a written decision and provides the decision to both parties and the Title IX Coordinator.
