We are committed to ensuring we meet all legislative and regulatory requirements including the Education and Care Services National Law, Children and Young Persons Act, Fair Work Act and Anti-Discrimination Act.  The Akidamy School of Early Learning incentivises employees to refer their contacts to work at our School. If you refer a new member of staff - you will be rewarded.

    SCOPE

This policy applies to staff, educators, approved provider and management of the School.

    HOW DOES THE PAROGRAM WORK?

If an employee (referrer) refers a new staff member they will be entitled to a referral bonus of $1,000 (before tax).  The referral bonus is exclusive of superannuation.
    • To refer a new staff member, the referrer must provide the following information via email to Mrs Natalie:
    • the name of the prospective staff member and their address
    • their mobile phone and email contact details and
    • provide a copy of their CV/Resume including 2 references
    • Payment of the referral fee will be made based on the following eligibility criteria:

    ELIGIBILITY

    • All full time, part time and casual team members are eligible to participate in this referral program.
    • Further, the referral bonus will not be paid if it comes to the attention of the School Director or management that the referring employee is actively looking for alternative employment. Such an example may be, but is not limited to, the School Director, management or another member of staff being contacted to provide a reference check for a current employee or situations similar to this in nature and outcome.
    • The referral bonus will be paid to the referrer in full upon the new staff member completing 6 months of continual service at the Akidamy. Any breaks of absence eg. for a period of parental leave will not count towards the 6-month time period.
    • Employees must be current employees to be eligible for the referral fee, no payment will be made in respect of any referrals which are completed after an employee’s employment is terminated, even if the employee provided details of the referral prior to their employment ceasing. Accordingly, if for example, a current employee refers a new employee who starts on 1 January, both persons must be employed at the Akidamy on 1 July for the referee to receive the bonus.
    • A single Referral Bonus is applicable for each successful referral. There are no limits to the number of referrals an individual can make.
    • The new staff member must have their qualifications approved by the Akidamy ie. they must have already obtained a Certificate III or higher qualification.
    • This referral program starts on 30 May 2022 and will continue to run until stated otherwise.
    • If two or more employees refer the same candidate, only the first referrer will receive their referral rewards.
    • The Akidamy reserves the right to cancel the Referral Program or to change these Terms & Conditions at any time in its sole discretion.  The Referral Program is subject to modification or termination at any time without notice at the founder’s sole discretion
    • Where there is a dispute regarding payment or eligibility for the referral bonus, the founders will make the final decision.
    • The Akidamy reserve the right to terminate participation in the program at any time for any reason upon notice to employees for reasons such as performance improvement matters or professional misconduct.
