7.03 Employment Applications

All applicants for staff positions (both full and part-time) are required to complete an application for employment.

The general consent language contained in the application is incorporated by reference into the Employee Handbook.

CHPC is an equal opportunity employer and all applicants are considered without regard to race, sex, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, genetic information, disability, or other category protected by law. As a religious organization, CHPC has the right to hire in accordance with our religious beliefs. All employees of CHPC must be Christian, and as such, must consistently seek to live by biblical standards, and agree to demonstrate unity within the church with a humble and teachable spirit. Employees also must fully support our beliefs (as described in the Section 1.05 Employee Expectations). We consider ministry readiness, and an individual’s capacity to represent CHPC’s beliefs as a minister, during the selection process for all staff and intern positions. An essential function within every position held by a staff member or intern at CHPC is to uphold and represent CHPC and our beliefs in all areas of personal and professional life.
