Baptism Tub Setup: Fellowship Hall
-
1Fellowship Hall SetupThe tub is to be moved from the Sanctuary to the F.H. using two small 4-wheel dollies via the handicap access door, through the Atrium and Main Street and into the Fellowship Hall. See photo for location as the hose is currently not long enough to reach any farther. Short term storage for the tub can be in the Main St storage room, long term is in the Sanctury.
Wipe out the tub once or twice using a microfiber cloth from the pantry to make it spotless. Any dirt will float and be visible on the water. Place the cloth on the basket rim on the kitchen washing machine to dry and be washed.
Baptismal Fount Moving - Remove the lid and bowl before moving. Use the red 2-wheel hand truck to move the Baptismal fount. Be careful it doesn't roll or move off of the truck when tipping. Keep a firm hand on the inside rim of the opening or have a second person steady the movement.

2Crossing hallways with safety caution signs. Use two of them.
-
3Route the hose with a third caution sign at the stage stairway. This is to promote awareness for those in rehearsal.
-
4Transporting the baptismal tubCarefully lift the tub onto the wood four wheel dolly. Be sure to place the tub on the wood not on the carpet so that when you move, the dolly will not slip out from under the top.
-
5Filling the tub with waterClamp the hose to the side of the tub so it cannot move. No-residue duct tape can also be used to hold the hose close to the side of the tub so the water doesn’t make a splashing sound which may be undesirable during rehearsals.
