1Altalink CHPC-C8030 Driver InstallationOpen the Edge browser with 10.0.0.100
Scroll down to Download Driver
Follow the instructions to open the file and run
You will need to go to Developer Mode for the software to be installed, leave the window open so you can return to it once complete and turn DM off.
Print a Test Page
Click done to close printer screen
Turn off Developer Mode and close that screen
Drivers and procedures are upgraded frequently so if this doesn't work, try to read between the lines to figure out what changed. -

Click Downloads (choices may vary with the version of your Windows Machine.)
Chose: Download Printer Files or:
Open Xerox Smart Start
Click on Quick Install
Click on Open Developer Mode Settings
Click on Developer Mode On (leave window open)
On Smart Start click continue
Click Install
Print a Test Page
Click Done
Go back to the Privacy and Security page and turn Developer Mode off
Close the Privacy window.
Drivers and procedures are upgraded frequently so if this doesn't work, try to read between the lines to figure out what changed.
If you want the Client Software (for Fiery publishing), go back and install that as well. (If you don't know what Fiery is you probably don't need it.)

3If you print job did not come out of the printer...Check the Print Queue
Windows: Press Start > Settings > Devices > Printers and Scanners. Locate the desired printer and open Queue > Document > Restart or Cancel.
Apple: Press Apple button > System Preferences > Printers and Scanners > Open Print Queue > Restart or Cancel. -
4Check printer paper supplyPaper drawers are numbered and labeled for the paper. Locate the proper paper and remove it from the wrapper. Fan the paper two directions and place it neatly in the drawer. Close the drawer and verify the paper selection.
Note: The machine should automatically detect the paper size. If the correct paper size does not appear on the screen, first check that the paper guides are properly snapped into place inside the paper drawer. When you re-close the paper drawer, the correct paper size should appear. If not, you will need to change the size to accurately reflect the paper in the drawer. -
5Check for network connectionRead the printer screen for any notice that the network is not connected. If it is not the printer will need to be restarted.

6Create a shortcut to the printers on your desktopUse this to monitor the status of the printers.
