    Teams

Every deacon will serve on one of three teams that make up the deacons. You chose your team for one year, and may switch teams each of your three years of service. The teams must be equal in number.
    1. Sunday Morning Service Team - This team focuses on improving quality of the ushers and providing outstanding care to everyone who comes into CHPC on Sundays. They will keep track of the supply levels in the deacon room, field complaints and suggestions, and schedule ministry partners to serve as ushers. Each SMST member will schedule Ministry Partners for 2 months of that year.
    2. Service Outside the Walls Team - This team's focus is spear heading the service activities the church does. This includes the block party, the Holiday food drives, and a (regular) worship night.
    3. Congregational Care Team - This team's focus is helping coordinate and spend time with ministry partners and regular attenders of the church who are in need and works closely with Joanne Cornelius. This includes hospital visits, connecting people to services provided through the church, following up on prayer requests through phone calls, and coordinating a (regular) prayer night in the community.
