What Are The Proclaim System Requirements?

    support.proclaim.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/19864579217...

Here are the basic requirements for running Proclaim on Windows or macOS. If you’re experiencing repeated crashes, view this troubleshooting article.

    Skip ahead to:

    Windows

    • Windows 10 (x64) or higher
    • x86–64 bit Intel-based processor (or higher). ARM processors are not supported at this time.
    • Pentium 1.4GHz (or AMD equivalent—1.3GHz or higher)
    • 2GB RAM
    • Windows Media Player
    • Recommended: video card with 2GB dedicated memory.

Note: If you’re experiencing Hardware Acceleration issues and your computer has an Intel 11th Gen CPU and the Intel Iris XE GPU, downloading updated graphics drivers from Intel may solve your problem. If you are seeing a notification within Proclaim recommending a Windows update, you may be running Proclaim in compatibility mode.

    Mac: macOS 11 or higher

Why no hardware requirements for Mac? Due to Apple’s control of hardware on their computers, your Mac will generally be adequate to run Proclaim if it supports the minimum required macOS version.

    Recently Dropped Support

In July 2023, Proclaim dropped support for the following operating systems:

    • macOS 10.14 Mojave
    • macOS 10.15 Catalina

Note: Beta versions of operating systems are officially unsupported, but if you run into issues it’s always worth chatting or calling our support team to report them, as they may also impact supported operating systems.

What will happen if I cannot update?

Any installations of Proclaim running on the operating systems above will be considered unsupported. Unsupported means Proclaim will no longer receive updates. Additionally, presentations and settings created in an unsupported version may not sync to the latest versions of the software.

    Proclaim Remote Requirements

The Proclaim Remote is supported on the following platforms:

    • Android 7.1 and above
    • iOS 10 and above

    Supported Connection Methods

While the preferred connection method is via a Local Wifi connection, you can also connect to the app through the internet for those who cannot connect over Local Wifi.

    iOS Devices

The new connection method is currently supported by Apple on all available versions of the Proclaim Remote app. There’s nothing you need to do or change in order to connect over the internet.

    Android Devices

Android 12 is required to install the app with the updated connection methods. If you are able to update your device to meet this requirement, please do so from Settings > System.

If you cannot update your device, you can still use the Remote with Proclaim, but you’ll need to use a Local Wifi connection to do so.

Note: Devices may occupy different subnets on your network. If you have followed the steps to set up your local wifi Remote app and still cannot connect to your presenting computer, please contact your network administrator.
