The recycle is collected twice a month, about every 2 weeks, so on a long month it may seem skipped but it's just late.

The center dumpster is emptied on Wednesday morning between 9:00am and 9:30am normally.

The left dumpster is emptied on the last Wednesday of the month. If the driver misses the pickup you can call Rumpke and tell them to come and pick it up. This usually only happens with a substitute or new driver.

Occasionally the dumpsters get crooked, but are easy to move if they are empty. Just get a 6-8' 2x4" from the garage and use it as a lever located under the corner of the dumpster to pivot it into the desired location.

The center dumpster is set with dummy locks that look like they are locked but really are not. Just keep the pin in the side door track. Do not lock the front door lock in the winter because it may freeze due to rain or snow. Always hook the lock but do not close it. This is necessary to prevent the wind from opening the plastic top doors and blowing out trash.

The left "Monthly" dumpster should be kept Locked all the time. Since it is only emptied once a month try to use it only for trash and yard waste that does not contain food. Waste with food should all go into the middle dumpster for weekly removal.

From time to time the dumpsters will end up too close together for proper access to the side doors. Use the 6' 2x3" stored in the Northeast corner of the north garage door as a lever to pivot the dumpsters a few inches at a time to the desired position.
