      Accessing the WebCTRL HVAC Server

      To access the WebCTRL HVAC Server, follow these steps:


      1. Open Chrome web browser. As of 11/11/24 Safari won't work. Chrome always works. FireFox is the recommended browser by ALC.
      2. Enter the server's IP address in the address bar.
      3. Press Enter to load the WebCTRL login page.

      Logging in to the WebCTRL HVAC Server

      To log in to the WebCTRL HVAC Server, follow these steps:


      1. Enter your username in the designated field.
      2. Enter your password in the designated field.
      3. Click the 'Login' button to proceed.

      Navigating the WebCTRL HVAC Server Interface

      Once logged in, you can navigate the WebCTRL HVAC Server interface using the following steps:


      • Click on the desired menu option in the top navigation bar to access different sections.
      • Use the left sidebar to access specific submenus within each section.
      • Click on the desired submenu to open its corresponding page.

      Operating the HVAC Controls

      To operate the HVAC controls within the WebCTRL HVAC Server, follow these steps:


      1. Select the desired HVAC system or zone from the navigation menu.
      2. Adjust the temperature setpoints or fan speed using the provided controls.
      3. Click the 'Apply' or 'Save' button to apply the changes.

      Generating HVAC Reports

      If you need to generate HVAC reports using the WebCTRL HVAC Server, use the following steps:


      1. Navigate to the 'Reports' section in the top navigation bar.
      2. Select the type of report you want to generate from the available options.
      3. Configure the report parameters as needed.
      4. Click the 'Generate Report' button to generate the report.

      Scheduling Groups

      1. Groups will control multiple devices at the same time.
      2. Schedules run the groups and are put in place through the side bar taskbar group tab.
      3. Holiday schedules do not seem to work with groups.
      4. The main street area group can be adjusted to turn off at different times through the normal schedules instead of using the holiday schedule.
        1. The main street area schedule is set to run six days a week, the same and then another schedule run Sunday. To enter another variation, uncheck a day box, and then create another schedule for that day.
      5. A schedule will not take effect if the start time is before the current time. It must wait until the next start time. 
        1. If you want to make a change mid day that restarts a decvice (s) Set the start time two minutes in the future and it will start. 
        2. Change the schedule back to the original desired time for the next day.

      Learning center lobby versus 3C’s classrooms

      • Since the LC lobby controls AH-2, we have put it on a limited run time so that the classrooms do not over cool during the unoccupied class time. This also includes the table room, which is T-VAV-1.

      Schedule Changes

      1. You can only change the future, not the past. If you want to start an area immediately, make a schedule that begins 2 or 3 minutes in the future so the system clock can see it to start it.

      Scheduling holidays and overrides

      Very important know that overrides and holidays you are scheduling the time you want it to run. It always works from a base of unoccupied so normal is when you wanted to run, holiday is when you wanted to run. Don’t get confused and think that holiday is when you don’t want it to run because that’s not correct.
