15.08 Study Leave
Ordained ministers, as part of their terms of call are granted two weeks of study leave and an allowance for books or other material annually. The definition of study leave is intentionally loose and may include sitting at the feet of someone else for structured teaching, or self-directed study at, for example, a local retreat center. Study leave includes workshops and seminars. Study leave time and allowance is not accumulative, except upon special request for a pre-planned purpose.
