20.02 Initial Screening

    All employees or potential employees of CHPC or its Ministries that have or are applying for a position where contact with minors can be expected must be thoroughly screened by the hiring CHPC Office or Ministry Area.
     
    In addition, the written questionnaire must be signed and dated by the potential employee verifying the truth of the information therein, acknowledging the stated duty (upon the hiring of the potential employee) to inform his/her direct supervisor of any new or subsequent information (not previously disclosed) that is relevant to any question on the questionnaire, and submitting to any and all screening processes of CHPC or its Ministry Areas
     
    The CHPC office or Ministry Area must contact a minimum of three (3) references listed on the questionnaire regarding the potential employee’s suitability for the position and so note the contact on the questionnaire.
