Apple Screen Mirroring on Sony TV

    Turn on the Sony TV and your Apple device.

    Ensure that your Sony TV and Apple device are both turned on and that they are on the same wireless network. The OA conference room is on the Staff Wi-Fi. The OA.B03, Club Room, is on the Ministry Partner Wi-Fi. Be sure to set your device appropriately.

    Open Control Center on iPhone/iPad

    iPhone X and later, or iPad

    • To open Control Center, swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen. 
    • To close Control Center, swipe up from the bottom of the screen or tap the screen. 

    If you swipe too close to the top-center of your screen, you might open Notification Center instead of Control Center.

    iPhone SE, and iPhone 8 and earlier

    • To open Control Center, swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen. 
    • To close Control Center, tap the top of the screen or press the Home button.

    Connect your Apple device to the Sony TV

    On your Apple device, open the Control Center and select the "Screen Mirroring" (Two overlapping rectangles) option. Your device will search for available devices to connect to. Select the Sony TV from the list. Our campus has many TVs of be sure to select the one in the room you are using. Your Apple device and Sony TV will now be connected. If you don't see the TV, check the wi-fi network as explained in step 1.

    OA.B03 Club Room TV Settings

    The TV should automatically switch to AirPlay once the device's AirPlay is activated. If it doesn't, with the TV on, press the input button on the remote control until you arrive at AirPlay. Once your Apple device is connected to your Sony TV, you can start streaming content from your Apple device to your Sony TV.
