7.01 Employment at Will
Employment is with the mutual consent of you and CHPC. Consequently, both you and CHPC have the right to terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or advance notice. This employment-at-will agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and CHPC about termination and it supersedes all prior agreements.
Although other church policies and procedures may change from time to time, this employment at-will agreement will remain in effect throughout your employment with CHPC unless, by exception, it is specifically modified by an express written agreement signed by you and the Senior Pastor (or his/her designee) of CHPC. This employment at-will agreement may not be modified by any oral or implied agreement.
Additionally, no document or informational item from CHPC including, but not limited to, an employee benefit plan, manual, employment application, recruiting or training material, or memorandum, whether singularly or combined, are to create an expressed or implied contract concerning any terms or conditions of employment.
