In addition to elders, every Presbyterian Church has deacons who are responsible for ministry to those who are in need. Working with and through the Care and Service Ministry Areas, the deacons seek to address needs for financial help, provision of food or even housing. “Deacons lead ministries that nurture fellowship and caregiving within and beyond the congregation.
