8.06 Employment of Relatives
Relatives of employees will receive the same consideration as any other applicant for a job opening and will not be accorded preferential treatment in employment matters. Generally, related employees may not be permitted to work in the same department or under the direct supervision of each other. Exceptions must be approved by the Senior Pastor. In addition, CHPC may require a related employee to transfer or resign if there is a conflict of interest or management problem of supervision that cannot be resolved.
In situations where an employee does directly supervise a relative, performance feedback and/or disciplinary actions, if necessary, will be handled through the Senior Pastor or Human Resources Director.
