Purchase from central tool rental on 9/26/22 for $499.98. Central took the old batteries for recycling. We also have two older batteries with one in the garage and one in Main Street mechanical. 

We have a 28 inch and a 31. 5 inch new bypass lopers, which are hanging in the garage. The old ones were worn out because they were sharpened on the grinder which made the blade shorter than the travel so it wouldn’t cut all the way through. if anyone is going to sharpen these, it needs to be done very lightly 

The current state (2023) for operational gasoline is quite small since we have outsourced the lawn mowing to a landscaping company. 

The tractor holds 2.5 gallons of gas so having one 5 gallon can filled is enough for the small maintenance use of the tractor. Only purchase Shell Gasoline because it is the most dependable and has the best detergent to keep the engine running smoothly. 

If purchasing in late fall or winter, purchase Plus or Premium because it has the best shelf life and if the octane diminishes a bit it has plenty in reserve for spring use.
