16.02 Jury Duty

Full-time and Regular Part-time employees who are called to serve on Jury Duty will receive their usual pay for up to 30 days. Those employees required to serve for more than 30 calendar days may take time off, without pay, for the balance of the time. Upon completion of jury duty, a Verification of Attendance Form must be presented to CHPC. Employees who are excused from jury duty for the day, or are excused early, should report to work when it is practical to do so. If an employee is called to serve on jury duty at a time that would unreasonably interfere with normal business operations, CHPC may request that the required service be rescheduled for a later date that would be more convenient for CHPC. Any fees received as a juror may be retained by the team member.
