Any staff member at CHPC who participates in the creation of copyrightable works (including musical or dramatic or literary materials, content and visible elements of a web page, artwork and graphics, video materials, computer or software programs, and other creative works of every kind and nature) and/or new ideas or concepts with CHPC resources or on CHPC time, will be doing so for the sole benefit and ownership of CHPC. 

You agree that all rights, title, and interest in and to all works or ideas or concepts created with CHPC resources or during CHPC work hours shall be owned by CHPC and you hereby convey the same to CHPC. You agree that, unless you state otherwise at the onset of a project, any work or idea or concept related to CHPC’s ministry or created with information or materials acquired in the course of your employment with CHPC will be assumed to have been created with CHPC resources or during CHPC work hours. 

If you are being hired as a Worship Pastor or Worship Leader, you may participate in songwriting (i.e., original compositions of non-dramatic musical works) at the direction of CHPC, and for the purpose of such works being used by CHPC. These copyrightable works are subject to the provisions of this Intellectual Property section of this Agreement. You agree to and do hereby convey all your right, title, and interest in such works to CHPC.
