SC | How to Split Orders in ShipStation

1Open the Order in ShipStationLocate the Order in the "Awaiting Shipment" tab OR Search the Order number in the Search Bar (top left corner - see photo below)

2Click "Split Ship"
- Locate the "Shipment Items" on the order
- Click "Split Ship"

3Select the Items that you want to Split off Order
- Locate the Items you want to split off the original order.
- Click the drop down under the "Shipment" column.
- Select "Shipment 2 (creates new)" to create a second Shipment:
- Click Save to save the additional Shipment(s)

4Confirm the "Ship From" on the Order
- Confirm that each new Shipment that you created has the correct "Ship From"
- Shipments that DO NOT have either a "#ShipCalm - Whiptail" or "#ShipCalm - Camby" Ship From WILL NOT import to InfoPlus and be fulfillable by ShipCalm.
- #ShipCalm - Whiptail - will allocate the Order to our Whiptail Facility
- #ShipCalm - Camby - will allocate the Order to our Camby Facility
- Make sure that EVERY new Shipment that is created has the correct Ship From.

5Confirm that all Line Items on the order have QuantityOrders that have a "0" quantity on a Line Item will NOT import to ShipCalm InfoPlus
All SKUs must have some quantity. -
6Confirm that SKUs on the Order are in InfoPlusIf the SKU: field is blank OR the SKU that is on order is not created as an Item Card in InfoPlus, the order will NOT import:
If the Selling SKU is different from the Inventory SKU that is recorded in InfoPlus, we will need to create an Alias in ShipStation. Please ask the ShipCalm team for assistance with this. -
7Verify Fulfillability Status in InfoPlusOnce the Order has been split in ShipStation and all has been confirmed, please allow for 15 minutes for the order to import to InfoPlus through the API Sync.
Check the "Fulfillability" on the Order to confirm that ShipCalm can ship this order.
