SC | How To Perform an Inventory Snapshot in InfoPlus

What is an Inventory SnapShot used for?

    • An Inventory Snapshot is used as a way to export the inventory levels of all SKUs on a specific date
    • The Inventory Snapshot can be used to report on the inventory levels at the beginning and end of each month.

When does the Inventory Snapshot get taken?

    • The Inventory Snapshot is a "snapshot" of the inventory levels at 3 AM CST on the date selected for the report
      • For example, if you select the date 6/1/2024 it will show you the inventory levels for all SKUs at 3 AM CST on 6/1/2024

      Filter by the Snapshot Date

Once on the Inventory Snapshot table, you will use the Snapshot Date field to set the date that you would like to view the snapshot.

Reminder: The snapshot is taken at 3 AM CST each day. Therefore, if you are wanting to view the snapshot for the LAST DAY OF THE MONTH, it is best to set the date as the FIRST DAY of the next month.

      • Example: If you want the Snapshot report for the last day in May (5/31), you should set the snapshot date as June 1st (6/1)
