A Smart Filter is a saved search within a table. Smart Filters are the foundation of Building Blocks in Infoplus.
In this case, we will be creating an Item Table Smart Filter that will EXCLUDE or INCLUDE specific SKUs from the InfoPlus Inventory sync to your selling channel (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.)
The steps below outline how to navigate to the InfoPlus Item Table, use the table filters at the top of the page in order to select specific SKUs for syncing and save it as a Smart Filter that can be edited and updated at any time.

2Navigate to the Item Table in InfoPlus
- Navigate to the Item Table in InfoPlus to start making the Smart Filter.

3Search or Filter the TableOnce on the Item table, use the filters at the top of the page to make the table reflect the specific SKUs you would like to have synced to your selling channel.
Exclude Specific SKUs from Syncing (Pre Orders, etc.)- If you are looking to EXCLUDE specific SKUs from the inventory sync use the SKU field
- Then select the option for 'Advanced' to present additional options:
- Select 'Exclude' - Then Select 'Edit'
- A window will open where you can begin entering the specific SKUs you would like removed from the filter.
- Note: There is a Bulk Add option if you have the SKUs in a spreadsheet or with the ability to copy and paste.
- Be sure to select the best option for how the SKUs are separated (i.e. by commas, spaces, or on a newline for each SKU.
- Select 'Update' on the SKU filter dropdown to apply the filtered SKUs
- If you are looking to EXCLUDE specific SKUs from the inventory sync use the SKU field

4Save the Search as a Smart FilterOnce the filters have been applied to exclude or include the necessary SKUs, you can save them as a Smart Filter.
- At the top left of the Item Table click the Save As button next to the name of the Smart Filter in the top left of the Table, or click the Smart Filters drop-down menu and select Save.

5Name the Smart FilterAfter selecting 'Save As', you will be asked to Name the Smart Filter. Create a unique name that has your company name and a description of what the filter is for (Example Below) and then select 'Save'
- Example: "Company Name | Items for Inventory Sync"
- The Smart Filter will be available in this table’s Smart Filters drop-down menu for future reference and updates!

6Important to Note
- The Inventory sync can only work with a single-item filter.
- Not able to create multiple different item filters.
- The smart filter can be updated and modified at any time simply by updating the Smart Filter and selecting 'Save' instead of saving a whole new filter with 'Save As'
- The Inventory sync can only work with a single-item filter.

7Send the Name of the Item Smart Filter to OpX TechAfter creating the Item Filter that you would like to use for the inventory sync, send the name of the Smart Filter to OpX Tech at ShipCalm and they will update the inventory sync to use the newly created Smart Filter
