Exporting terminology from TBs

    Open the term bases in memoQ

    In memoQ, open the TB menu. It can be found on the left in the project dashboard:

    Another option is (if you are not in a project) via the Resource Console:

    Find the desired TB in the server/online

    Upper right, first mark that you want access via the server/online since memoQ defaults to My Computer. For that purpose, click the small arrow to open the drop-down list and select our server (memoq.leemeta.com). Then click the tick to confirm the server.

    When the TBs appear, find the relevant TB that you want to export.

    Open the terminology export dialogue

    When the TB is highlighted, click Export terminology.

    If you are using the Resource console, you find the option below the TB list.

    Select the Excel format

    In the pop-up window, select Export as XLSX.

    Select the parameters to be exported

    Below select the parameters to be exported. Term text is mandatory (and therefore needs to be marked), alsoi Entry_ID is recommendable with the remaining fields optional (e.g. if you included notes with your term entry, you can select Note).

    Below is a preview of the selected columns. After you have selected all the columns you wanted, click Export.

    Configure the export path

    When the export window opens, configure the export path. The default export path is already entered, but you can click the three dots to the right to select your own term base export path. Then click Export below.
